On Friday, September 20, Matt Taylor, B.A. 1998, was formally inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame during Cardinal Weekend 2024.

About Matt Taylor

Matt Taylor remains one of the top offensive players in Catholic University football history. An All-American in 1996, Taylor is second all-time with 3,802 rushing yards and 54 career touchdowns. A player with a nose for the end zone, he still holds the single-season record for rushing touchdowns (22). His 22 touchdowns are also the second-most total touchdowns ever scored by a Catholic University player in a season. Taylor became the first player in program history to record multiple 1,000-yard rushing seasons, both of which still rank in the top 10 in single-season history.
