We offer a variety of programs to bring alumni and friends together, including reunions, chapter events, travel opportunities, and educational offerings. Please join us!
Welcome to 2020 at The Catholic University of America, a year of incredible challenges that have exposed our community's fortitude, resilience, and generosity.
During this biennial event, we honor the extraordinary work and service of Catholic University's most distinguished alumni and other deserving individuals.
Imagine alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends of Catholic University uniting for a day to volunteer in their communities. Although separated geographically, we can serve as one. Our bond would be stronger than the distances that separate us. Our sum would be greater than our parts. Our impact would be truly awesome.
We are celebrating Founders Day 2020 differently. Given the global health crisis, a giving challenge is not an appropriate celebration this year. Instead we are focusing on some of the heroes within our community who are giving us hope and inspiration in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic: alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents, and friends who are embodying the founding principles of Catholic University in this time of crisis.
The Senior Class Gift represents a class's legacy, demonstrating what members of a class can achieve when they unite in pursuit of a common purpose. This year, the students on the Student Philanthropy Council ask the Class of 2021 to participate in funding a new scholarship, the Class of 2021 Impact Scholarship. If fully funded, the scholarship will financially support a student in the Class of 2025 who may not otherwise be able to pursue a Catholic University education.
Ten reunion classes compete for awards in four categories. The winning classes bolster their legacies and earn bragging rights for the next five years. Can you and your classmates rise to the challenge?
On the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, consider making The Catholic University of America a philanthropic priority during the giving season. Be a part of a larger cause by making a gift to the University and sharing your support on social media.
Who would win between football and basketball? Lacrosse and tennis? Golf and volleyball? We’ll never have a definitive answer, but with the Cardinal Athletics Giving Challenge, we level the playing field so that the varsity sports can compete against each other.
In collaboration with the Athletics Department, we recognize and honor alumni and coaches who made distinguished contributions to varsity athletics at Catholic University.
Cardinal Weekend is our annual homecoming and reunion extravaganza. We encourage all alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and students to join us for this largest gathering of The Catholic University of America's extended family.
