On Friday, September 20, Jill Woerner, B.B.E. 2013, was formally inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame during Cardinal Weekend 2024.

About Jill Woerner

Jill Woerner put together one of the University’s most outstanding careers in women’s basketball history while also guiding an immensely successful period of women’s hoops. After winning Landmark Rookie of the Year and then, in 2013, being named an All-American selection by both the Women's Basketball Coaches Association and D3hoops.com, Woerner helped Catholic University to its most wins in program history and its first-ever NCAA Tournament win during that campaign. She finished her career in second on the all-time Catholic scoring list with 1,544 points. A three-time D3hoops All-Region selection, Woerner was named the Landmark Conference Player of the Year in 2013 and was named to the all-conference first team three times. The lone Academic All-American in program history, Woerner holds nine top 10, single-season statistical marks in the program’s history.
