The Young Alumni Council (YAC) develops future leaders who help advance The Catholic University of America.

Speaking on behalf of alumni of the past ten years, YAC helps the University to best engage young alumni.

This volunteer group strengthens bonds among young alumni and students. By focusing on career development, service projects, and social programs, YAC helps young alumni achieve their professional and personal goals, and YAC helps students prepare for life after graduation.

Structure

YAC operates under the auspices of the Division of University Advancement. YAC has access to the Alumni Board of Governors (BOG) and attends BOG’s annual meetings in October and April. YAC also collaborates with the Student Philanthropy Council (SPC) to plan and execute student events.

YAC operates within the University fiscal year (May 1 through April 30), measuring its goals and recruitment within that time frame.
