We help young alumni remain committed to The Catholic University of America.

The Young Alumni Council (YAC) strengthens the bond between recent graduates and The Catholic University of America. In collaboration with the Office of Alumni Relations, YAC develops engagement opportunities for young alumni that deepen their commitment to the University and prepare them for active roles in the Catholic University Alumni Association.

By focusing on career networking, service and volunteer outreach, and social gatherings, YAC recruits volunteers and develops future leaders who can help advance The Catholic University of America.

YAC Responsibilities

  • Focus on three major pillars of engagement:
  • Career development
  • Service and volunteer outreach
  • Social programs
  • Participate in career development and networking opportunities sponsored by the Alumni Association to help engage current students with local alumni in different career fields.
  • Volunteer at major Catholic University events such as Odyssey Day and Orientation.
  • Sponsor social gatherings focused on networking and engaging the community.
  • Financially support the annual fund at a level of their choosing.
