What is Giving Tuesday?
In 2012, Giving Tuesday was created as a response to the shopping extravaganzas that are Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Giving Tuesday reframes the days after Thanksgiving as not just the start of a shopping season but also the start of a giving season when people rally around causes important to them.
Giving to Catholic University on any day of the year is recognized and appreciated but days like Giving Tuesday provide an opportunity to join together with hundreds of other community members in supporting a common goal.
