Retired as the Vice President and General Manager for Lockheed Martin Space - Mission Solutions line of business, where he was responsible for approximately 4,500 employees and an annual sales base of over $1B in support of government defense and intelligence agencies worldwide.
Mission Solutions develops, delivers, and operates affordable engineering and sustainment solutions for commercial, military and intelligence users across the globe. These mission critical efforts include development of innovative enterprises, cloud and application-based solutions for mission management, command and control, collection orchestration and tasking, processing, data analysis and analytics along with premier operations and sustainment capabilities of space-based programs in support of national security.

Prior to this role, Sica was vice president of Space Ground Solutions (SGS) since 2013 for Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Solutions (IS&GS) - Defense & Intelligence Solutions line of business. Since joining Lockheed Martin in 1984 Sica has served in various levels of leadership and technical positions. In these roles, Sica was responsible for the management, engineering, development, and implementation of a broad portfolio of programs that support the defense and intelligence communities.

Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Sica earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BME) from Catholic University in 1983. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees at the Catholic University of America. Vinny and his wife Ellen have four grown children, three children-in-law, three grandchildren and reside in Fairfax Station, Virginia.
