The Catholic University Library and Information Science Alumni Association hosted its 34th annual Stone Lecture.

Richard Huffine is currently leading the practice of archives, records management, and library science within a government-chartered corporation. He is an active participant in developing data science and knowledge management strategies within his organization as well. During his long tenure in government and corporate organizations, he has seen the convergence of skills required across the spectrum of data, information and knowledge practices and believes training in library and information science provides a great foundation for success in the workplace today and in the future. His lecture, "The Convergence of Data, Information and Knowledge in Practice Today," discussed on why practitioners need to have a larger worldview of their abilities to remain relevant to the future of information work.
