Thanks to our community of generous donors, the 2022 Founders Day Giving Challenge was an incredible success. Alumni, parents, faculty, staff, friends, and students raised more than $357,000 across 72 University initiatives and priorities. But most importantly, the Cardinal family united to make 834 gifts in celebration of The Catholic University of America, and the results were amazing.
We are incredibly grateful that so many people chose to celebrate the 135th anniversary of the founding of Catholic University. The strength of our Cardinal community can be measured by its generosity. In one day, our community members rallied with the singular purpose of supporting Catholic University. Because of this support, we can ensure that the University's founding mission continues to light the way for our nation, the Church, and the world.
We thank everyone who participated in the Founders Day Giving Challenge. If you missed the celebration, you can make a gift online now.
We encourage you to view the leaderboards online and continue reading this story to see the totals for the day, the matching gifts that were fully unlocked, and our prize-winning donors. (Note: Some of our totals may change as we receive more gifts in the mail for the Founders Day Giving Challenge.)
