At The Catholic University of America, our greatest investment is our people. When donors endow professorships, administrative roles, and coaching positions, their gift elevates academic programs, athletic teams, and our student experience by providing permanent funding to recruit and retain exceptional talent.
The Light the Way capital campaign (2016-2023) expanded the reach of these partnerships, which are critical to the vitality of Catholic University. With your support, the University raised $518 million during the eight-year campaign. Together, we created 18 new endowed professorships across seven schools and two endowed coaching positions in Athletics, the first of their kind at the University. These positions are more than honorific titles for the individuals who hold them; they also represent a public commitment to excellence and purpose by the generous donors who made them possible.
